Did you miss out on the Digital Leadership Community event on digital change management? This time Kimberly Lein-Mathisen, General Manager, Microsoft Norway, ignited our dialogue.
November 2019 Microsoft opened two new datacenter regions in Norway, and with this unlocked the vast range of opportunities that lies within a Norwegian based hyperscale cloud. Advanced technology like, AI, IoT and Mixed reality is now available for all as a service, at the blink of an eye, without big investments. Great innovations can be unlocked with only one developer. How does this impact Norwegian companies and leadership?
Kimberly Lein-Mathisen shared her perspectives on innovation, change and leadership and illustrated with the powerful learnings from Microsoft’s own transformation story.
When the world shifted from on prem to cloud, Microsoft woke up to a new world, and started to re-engineer itself from perpetual licensing to subscription sales. To support the change Microsoft developed a framework, based on Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck’s notion “growth mindset”, unleashing a company culture with the capability of building an airplane while flying it.
